13 reasons have been tested by a later filing, and every one of them moved. Not one filing so far has left a reason exactly as it was — which is unusual, and worth saying plainly rather than smoothing over. We write to a reader either way.
how often we refuse ourselves
4 composed pieces were refused before publication — a quotation that did not match the filing, a number with no claim behind it, or a count that disagreed with what the page rendered. That gate has no override and nobody in the loop. 6 pieces have been published.
how many reasons survive a year
We cannot answer this yet. The oldest reading in the corpus is 23 days old, and a reason has to be under watch for a year before anyone can say whether it survived one. Annualising a few weeks would be exactly the thing this page exists to not do. The question stays here, open, until the data closes it.
